A few observations:

1. the 50st. stamp is considered a miniature sheet. Considering the setting of the face value, I cannot see any reason why this would be a miniature sheet and not just an oversized stamp.
2. Bulgaria had the interesting habit of inscribing its lower value stamp in Cyrillics and higher value stamps in Roman characters.
3. This issue was rather inconsistent in that the event was inscribed in Cyrillics on all stamps, even where the currency and country name are in Roman characters.
4. Only the 50 st. stamp identifies the VIII World Cup London 1966 as a football world cup. The others may as well commemorate the VIII world cup football-scenes-on-egg-painting.
5. The 50 st. stamp identifies the image (Jules Rimet Cup) in Roman characters, but the event still in Cyrillics.
6. The 50st. stamp - probably what made some catalogue editors classify it as miniature sheet - is imperforate where the other stamps are line perforated.

A few observations on observations

2. Face values on Bulgarian stamps at that period were strictly tied to postage rates, where lowee values paid fot the internal mail and high values - for international mail. Hence, the first are in Cyrillics used in Bulgarian, while the second are in Roman characters.
4. The described football event was (and is) known in the countries of the (former) Soviet block as the world championship in football while the rest of the world know it as the FIFA World Cup. The official name adopted in Bulgaria is present on all stamps including the souvenir sheet. You are wrong about the 50 st. stamp / souvenir sheet - the English name on the left refers to the trophy, the Jules Rimet Cup (it is features to the right of the text), and not to the competition, its name is still written in Cyrillics.
