Hi all
I been searching the site for a web page were you can subscribe to were you can download pre made stamp album pages. I have seem the web page address, but dang I can't find it again. I believe the site was a $30 subscription to it.
I been searching of a good Albums) But have decided to do a custom home made album to suit me.I been finding the commercial Albums stamps Pict's are to confined, I would prefer more spread out, each stamp group separate with more area... weird but hell I am weird,,,,,,,, and seems I like to do things the hard way,,,,,,
So if any one knows of this site or another please post it... And I am sorry if I am repeating some one else post....

Marko1959, I have thinking about custom pages myself. Has anyone used the site Cjd has indicated? In addition to the $30/year cost, you have to figure in cost of archive-grade paper (I use archival-grade card stock myself) and ink. The web site indicates that the sheets cannot be modified, so take that into consideration also. I did look at the sheets that are free to download. He has done quite a decent job in creating the pages, although they are somewhat plain-looking. From what I see of the sheets I have downloaded, I think $30 is very reasonable, and I am going to go for it (at least for a year). I have also identified some sites where you can custom make your own album pages. I am thinking about looking at some of those to determine how easy their software performs. This may be a way for me to create custom pages for special items. Hopefully in a month or two I will be able provide a summary of what I find out. |

Let me also mention that a big advantage is that you only have to print the pages you need, and print other pages when you need them. |

If you search SCF archives for "Steiner" you'll find lots of threads mentioning this site. (William Steiner is the proprietor of the site, so you'll often hear people referring to these as "Steiner" pages.) |

Hi Marko,
The album pages on the website mentioned above do not contain picutres of the stamps. They do contain detailed information by which you can easily identify which stamps go in which places (date of issue, design name, perforation, watermark, etc.). |

I made my own pages for my US definitives pages. I could organize them by type rather than date, which made them easier for me to understand.
I highly recommend the learning you can get from combing through a catalog to understand the issues.
No pictures, but if you want the definitives pages, I will share. |

How many of you who print album pages print page on (1) on side only (2) both sides or (3) sometimes on only one side and sometimes on both sides? |

I always print on one side.
If you use doubles-sided pages, you may have to put interleaving between pages to keep facing stamps/mounts from snagging each other as you turn the page. |
