I've got to page 50 so far. It makes you wonder what happened to some of these folk. Some have over a thousand posts and then just disappear without a trace. Have they died? Gone to jail? Started walking the entire length of the western Pacific seaboard? Taken up marquetry as a better hobby? Joined another forum? I can't say all of these present themselves as entirely reasonable options.

Page 66 isn't grim, it's all but certain that it was a spam attack. guaranteed we are better off without them.

Agree 100%. Page 170 is just as bad but at least there seem to be good defenses.

There's susprisingly few Norwegians and Icelanders in the membership.

Tim H. wrote: "started walking the entire length of the western Pacific seaboard......." If you're referring to the western USA, that's near one of the great long distance trails of the USA; the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT); running from Mexico to Canada along the Sierra Nevada and Cascade ranges. I have a friend who is doing the PCT in bits and pieces, starting a couple years ago. He's also now working on the Continental Divide Trail (CDT). Needless to say, one has to be a believer in backpacking lite.

(just noticed that this is my 500th post here. Thanks to everyone for putting up with me!)

Rod was surprised to see we have (had?) a forum mom. I noticed we had a forum uncle at one point. I tried to see if there was a forum aunt, but so far no luck!

Well I had a look and was very surprised to be on page 18.

I sent Bobby nuts trying to post my 1st image. And the mess was left in the help area for a long time because it was so bad it was laughable.

Started Australia KGV Stamps explained to learn how to use a computer.

Have given myself a good shake now & then to remove a few dinosaur scales.

Happy Days.

Well done on reaching this milestone.

I was considering the entire length from Alaska to Patagonia... I met someone once who had cycled the entire seabord from South to North. Walking is a labour of a lifetime, but what a journey! I broke my knee in a climbing accident a couple of years ago which has severely curtailed my hiking.

I found out I'm not a member. It's kinda like waking up in the morning and realizing you don't exist!

Where do stamp collectors go when they die? Is this the reason a particular membership would show up "Locked"?
