The green labels look similar to
stickers wt1, maybe gummed labels for
another use.

wt1, what were your search terms on ebay for getting to these items. I have a terrifically difficult time finding anything except stamps on ebay. |

The search term was "Precancel Stamp Society". It's only as good as the posting is, though. In this case, the labels were all being auctioned by the same person and they happened to use the title "Precancel Stamp Society" so it isolated the listings. |

1942 2 labels produced existed in blue and brown  Confirmed printed 1940 8 varieties 4 in green 4 in red and blue cannot comment on 1946 one only label was printed in 1946  1954 two labels exist dark blue light blue  |

Just to be out of the pile for a minute, The PERFINS CLUB, which holds their annual conventions at the same time and place as the Precancel Stamp Society (for many years now), also issues stickers for each year! Go find em....  NOTE: Perfin pattern shown on stamp is International Harvester Company (I43.7B-15) (issued between 19078-1938). |

Serendipity came beckoning, seems the IHC perfin is from hither and yon.............. Australia 1940 PERFIN IHC International Harvester Company Left on piece, the secretary possibly tore the stamp when separating, right through the perfin punctures.  |
