Hello. I got this in the mail today and have a question. My question is about the paper it is printed on. This has a very thin paper. Does anyone know if this is typical for this stamp? I was able to find info on the stamp itself but not the type of paper it was printed on. I just want to make sure mit is a good stamp and not a reprint.
Thanks
david

The 1p black/brown, according to the 2011 Scott Classic catalogue, can come in two typeset varieties, and "Forgeries exist". Sorry, I have no knowledge of paper types. :-(

Hi

Leo Temprano and Alvaro Barriga catalogs say nothing about paper type. If it is on thin paper it may be a proof, or most likely a forgery.

The Cundinamarca stamps I have are on normal or thick paper. Therefore, since a "normal" paper was available I would be suspicious of a thin paper type.
