I've been putting the DWI stamps into Big Blue this week, and thought I'd share.

I would love to see your collection too!

BTW, the 2011 Scott Classic Specialized has 66 major stamp descriptions, and I have 23 of them.

Here is a SON "Christiansted 10-1-1902"? cancel on a Scott 25 8c on 10c blue & brown. The surcharge is type "c", according to Scott. Nice stamp!

Next is a typographed 1905 Scott 35 40b red & gray "King Christian IX" Does his silhouette include a mustache? And it has a St. Thomas postmark.

This 1908 Scott 50 50b yellow & brown "Frederik VIII" is postmarked 1910, and has an engraved center with the frame typographed. I just noticed the posthorns in the upper corners.

Finally, I have the complete set-eight stamps- of the 1915 "Christian X" issue. Used copies are valued at 10X or more compared to mint. This was the last issue before the frugal Danes sold the islands to the U.S....for $25 million dollars. Here is a Scott 154 20b green & blue. I like it!

Comments or sharing (What's in your collection?) appreciated!

Alas, I have but none, not one :(

The engraving in the last is extraordinary
so alive!

I have two images in my database, My album Page header,
and some, I know not from whence it came,
early St Thomas labels (not mine of course) and of
which I know nothing.

The colors on the 1915 set make it a favorite. A neat little area to collect, with pleasing designs.
