My latest quest is to fill my US Airmail section with the C1-C6 pieces. Half way there.    So far I'm pleased with the finds although I might look to upgrade the centering on the C4 (Airplane Radiator and Wooden Propeller) but it is MNH. |

Great looking stamps! I have used copies and someday look to up grade as well. Aside from the Zepps, the 1st 6 are the best looking of the airmails.

I'm working on well-centered, nice cancel used.
C6 is the problem child on both counts.

Beautiful. I've got the 8c as well and love it. Now that I've got revenuecollectors generous airmail collection in the album I can concentrate on unused airmails, and especially the jennys (though I need both of those). |

You don't need me to tell you this, but you are on the right track.  Looking at a page of nicely-centered items is rewarding...at first blush, you think everything looks nice...it's when you stop to think about it that you realize why it looks so nice. Lets see the rest! |

Three beautiful scans of US Scott#C1, Scott#C2, Scott#C4. The topic says it all - 2 of 3. The thread won't be complete without an equivalent scan of Scott#C3. Someone has it? |

I've got to agree that the centering on the first U.S. air post stamp (C3) is quite impressive. The others are nicely centered as well but I think the bi-color of the 24c really adds to its overall appearance. Is the back of the stamp as pristine as its face? |
