Thankyou gentlemen,
I am looking forward to reading more about this scoundrel,
if he drew them himself, or employed artists / ilustrators.
I have a feeling there are thousands in his catalogue,
I am surprised I havn't bumped into them in the past 10 years,
always something new in collecting.

The Henri IV was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the French Navy built to test some of the ideas of the prominent naval architect Louis-Émile Bertin. She began World War I as guardship at Bizerte. She was sent to reinforce the Allied naval force in the Dardanelles campaign of 1915, although some of her secondary armament had been removed for transfer to Serbia in 1914. Afterwards, she was relegated to second-line roles before being sent to Taranto as a depot ship in 1918. She was struck from the naval list in 1921.

It is a question of reprinting the blood, the bones, the marrow of France, hear the good.
We must give all the time and money to this supreme interest.

Nice page Bob !

I recently picked up 'Images of the Great War' volumes 2 and 5 by Schmidt & Kiddle and still need to have a good look through them. Volume 2 by Walter Schmidt has a lot of empty spaces which was a bit disappointing.

I don't have many vignettes but will try to add a few to the thread. Look forward to seeing more of yours.

Thanks...I don,t know if this is correct but I was told the non-perforated vignettes are more valuable than perforated.
A couple more pages....there may be a couple of items which are not Delandre issues.
