I am in a quagmire with these overprints for Turkey. Here is another of Scott Variety A41 but I cannot find the actual catalog number. Any help please? Thanks - Jeff

Also be aware, I think these opts
can show the christian six pointed star,
or the Islam 5 pointed star IIRC.

I think you'll find in this case it's either the muslim five-pointed star or the muslim six-pointed star.

Absolutely

I am conditioned by what I read.
An icon can be interpreted differing ways by the viewer,
the swastika is a prime example.
