Hi im just wondering about the cancellation on this stamp. it so different from how they usually look. I believe it to be genuine. mayby it was something the belgians used in antartica. Have you seen something similar on stamp from belgian antartica.
I believe they refer to this type of cancellation as "Life Saver" ones, close to their Dutch counterparts but varying in design a little. I have seen this type from other Belgian cities but this is the first I heard about them being used in the Belgian Antarctic.
Glad to her that rod, well atleast there is the two of us. I think it makes the whole collecting more interesting. great info the Bujutsu. Regular stamp indeed, but I was more curious about the cancellation.
