Dialup warning!

About 130 images below.

I have no idea why I bought this lot, other than some of the designs were cool, especially the Vienna issues (towards the end of the pics), and it was dirt cheap.

I don't think I've ever met anyone that "seriously" collects Indonesia... the stamps almost always show up in bargain bins.

I'm not sure if this will be the beginning of a new collecting sideline, or just put away for the long-term.

I have most of what you have there, fun stuff just the same.
Indonesia is a very complex country during WWII all the local Japanese overprints. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this revenuecollector; I collect overprints and wasn't aware of many of these. I've saved a number of these pictures for future reference. Most interesting.

Wow... I wish something like that would land under my nose. Compared to that my humble accumulation of 250+ (used) Indonesian stamps looks like peanuts.

Although I'm not much on Indonesia, that is quite a nice lot. Why is it that Indonesia is another country like DDR that doesn't attract alot of collectors? Those souvenir sheets at the end look nice.

Why I oughtta...

Actually, I wouldn't mind collecting the Vienna issues. They're quite attractive from a design perspective. Maybe I'll just try and track down some of the more expensive souvenir sheets just for giggles...

Wow, what a stockpile! I was largely unfamiliar with Indonesia until this post. I found quite a few of these to be quite attractive. I'm in the process of collecting a sampling (stock page's worth) of countries worldwide, so if you are interested in parting with some if the dups in the dealers envelopes please post some auctions!

Thanks for posting the scans. Awesome assortment!
