As previously mentioned, asking the question on the Interwebz skews the sample heavily towards the younger end.

I just got back from INDYPEX today, and the VAST majority of both dealers and collectors present were above 60. At 45, I'm one of the youngsters in the room...

My last birthday, I celebrated the 39th anniversary of my 29th birthday.

I was 68, but do not feel a day over 67.

Well, as one of my great-uncles used to say (he rode a harley until he was in his mid 80's)

"I aint old.. I'm just a recycled teenager!"

Most of you are still babies.

I stopped counting after 50 but I don't feel a day over 25

There was a time when I would write silly Stamp-related odes that made even the most sane reader squirm with embarrassment.

So get squirming !

HOW OLD AM I ?

How old am I ?, I wish I knew,
I must be more than 22,
Collecting stamps since '91,
It sure has been a lot of fun,

Take 10% of 99 and add .1 and twenty,
If your Maths is on the ball,
You'll see I'm years-a-Plenty,

Now take that number cut in half,
And add two score and seven,
And if you double that [but don't],
You'd meet me up in heaven,

My age you'll get, just minus five,
You'll see, I'm very much alive,
For work and family supported,
And all those lovely stamps, Unsorted !
