If I tallied the ages correctly, I come up with;
Age Count
9 and under 3
10 to 19 1
20 to 29 1
30 to 39 17
40 to 49 16
50 to 59 16
60 to 69 12
70 and over 1

These numbers ONLY mean the age of SCF members who responded. Not all collectors or even the entire SCF membership.

Well, since just about everyone else has come clean, I'm 64, and discovering whether the Constant Companion still needs and feeds me ...

Interesting poll results....in 2007 the APS had a study done on their behalf which showed the average age of APS members as 63.....also showed that members were in general better educated and financially better off than the average US male of that age.

I was a mere youngster of 54 at that time and seeing that my education has been in the "university of life", I live in Scotland and have always earnt enough to "get by", the rest did not apply.

Best wishes,

Brian....machins.

Intrusting information.
Add another notch in the 30-39 group.
I've been at this for about 30 years.
My wife keeps wondering what's in those little envelops. ;)

Age is just a state of mind, Daryl.
When I finally fall over, they can count the rings in my leg to get an accurate number.
