I seem to have a knack recently of acquiring inverts.

See SCF topic: Dominican Republic-Inverted Centers!

At the stamp club meeting this week, the same fellow (who specializes in Latin America) offered this specimen....

1911 Scott 142 5p red & black
"President Manuel Estrada Cabrera"

Catalogue value-65 cents

As Center Inverted- $30

That's some knack.

Nice scan too, I wonder with bicolours
if printers always printed the vignette first
before the frame.

Oops, the frame before the vignette.

Nice scan too,

Thanks Rod.

The scan is made with one of those "Four in One" (printer, scanner, fax, copy) HP Officejet 4500 wireless machines that some recommend against. But the proof is in the pudding.
