Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, Jmaplewood!

Nice stamp! In the Scott catalog, it is Libya #J16(1934) with a 2009 catalog value of $1.75 for mint never hinged.

Don't know if you have run across this info yet, but the "J" prefix in Scott denotes a "postage due" stamp.

As you've no doubt noticed, they are pretty little stamps in person.

Thanks for the info...

Im super new at this. 6 days ago I didn't even know what the current postage is, much less anything about stamps. then I opened that box....

So you all might have to bear with me for a while...

One more that caught my eye, I think Greece?

Welcome aboard. Yes the second stamp is Greece, #568 issued in 1954. Stamp collecting is indeed a fun passtime. Enjoy your new hobby.
