Hello, first post here and I have a question. A friend of my Mothers brought these to her and wanted to see if I could find out if any of these had any value? I helped her with some coins a few months ago and she thought maybe I could help with the stamps. However I don't know a thing about stamps and was hoping somebody could help. I scanned them but the scanner cut off the edges, here is a link.

Tried to make it as large as I could by I'm limited by dial up.

Welcome to the forum Lion, you'll find lots of info here. For the most part you collection looks pretty common, and some are in rough shape.
The brown King George V in the lower left corner is interesting. Depending on which issue it is, either 1913-18 or the retouched issue of 1919. A close up scan of that one would be useful. Either one could have some value. I'm afraid I don't have a current catalogue.
The Cuban grayish blue stamp on the right centre also looks interesting. I think it is an official stamp, though my Spanish is non existent. Some of our resident revenue collectors would be interested in that one.
Good luck.

He meant the larger one just to the left of this one.

This one is a pre WW2 German stamp (the atrocious condition making it virtually worthless I'm afraid).

Well, in that case, I believe you have SC (Scott Catalogue)#173 which is the earlier issue. The redrawn stamps of 1919 has, according to Scott's a "dot above the middle of the top frame." I don't see no dot.
Also the 173 measures 22mm high (the printed area) whereas the later #179 is 22 3/4mm high (get out your ruler).
Yours, the earlier version is the more valuable. My 2003 Scott's catalogue lists it at $85.00 use. But before you start dancing a jig (or the hokey pokey) you stamp is quite damaged and stained which will bring the value down quite a bit.
Our local GB experts will be able to give you a better idea of value and quality rating. Still, nice stamp.

edit- Also I notice there are two versions of this stamp. The 173 dark brown and 173a light brown. The 173 was printed in 1913 by Waterlow Bros. & Layton, while the 173a was printed in 1915-18 by Thomas De La Rue & Co.
Same value used. I can't tell if yours is a light brown or a faded dark brown. Again condition is everything.

When it looks like somebody spilled coffee on the album, all bets are off as far as resale value.
