Took delivery today of a collection of mint and used Canadian stamp that I won on KMP last week. Included was a pair of the 1953 Queen Elizabeth 2c green coil stamps, mint in a little plastic sleeve.
When I took them out I was delighted to find two other pairs of the 3 and 4 cent as well, tucked in behind. All in beautiful condition.
Small potatoes I suppose in the grand scheme of things, not rare stamps by any means. But isn't it nice when you get a nice surprise like that? Makes it all worth while.
