I found this Canadian perfin in a batch on Canadian stamps I purchased at local stamp club auction. I know absolutely nothing about Canadian perfins, but the spacing of the perfins suggest that the intent was to have each stamp bear at least part of more than one perfin. The centerline of pinholes is so close that it acts almost like a guillotine. The centerline of pinholes happen to correspond to the stamp perfs on each side effectively destroying the perfs.
