I have this sick addiction to the 1890 Washington Scott 220 two cent stamp and its variations. I have accumulated about 3500 copies. Don't ask. But I am trying to put together a few nice pages of the variations so I thought I would share some of my work pages. Far from a finished product. Back to my padded room.

Below (cancels and fancies - love the bow tie!)

Below, some alpha cancels.

Below, Buzzards Bay Mass cover to Naragansett Pier RI and a Coney Island postmark!

Below, how about some numbers!

Scouter,

Love the cancels! I'm sure you have but, did you put together a grouping of the single left cap only and double caps of the 220? That would be a neat sub-category, for sure. I only have a couple of each. They aren't that scarce but can be a pain to find. I don't think there are any single right cap only. Though, I have seen one claiming to be one.

philb, that is an awesome address! I wonder if the person always wrote like that--might make reading a letter from them difficult, haha

Scouter, thank you for starting this exciting, informative, artistic and conformation that I, like artlaunier, am not the only accumulator/collector of 220 stamps! (I had "nut" where "accumulator" is, but I was worried I might unintentionally offend Art!)

Heck, I thought that I had a lot at 457! Most of which I still have to go thru.

My favorite stamp of yours is on the top row, 5th from the left with the double star cancellation!
