The US Postmaster General has just announced four new members appointed to the Citizens Stamp Advisory Committee:

Peter Argentine, founder of Argentine Productions, which specializes in media design and production for museums, national parks, visitor centers, science centers and television.

Justin Bua, an award-winning artist who created the genre known as "distorted urban realism." Bua is host, executive producer and co-creator of the upcoming Oxygen television series, "Street Art Throwdown."

Carolyn Lewis, formerly chief executive of Texwood Furniture Inc. and a member of the Postal Service's Board of Governors from 2004-10.

Katherine Tobin, who joined the committee in 2013 and is formerly a member of the Postal Service's Board of Governors. She also serves on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

It's part of the new USPS mindset ... they don't want more old time philatelists on their Committee who often supports historical themes or famous Americans on stamps anymore; instead, they want designers and artists on the Committee who will cooperate with the new "pop culture" thinking of today's US Postal Service stamp program.

More details and photos of the new CSAC Committee Members are posted here:
