A great sheet finches,
It reminds a bit of Israel Definitive Sheets that are made up into Booklets and issued in a similar format.
Nice

Here is a Se-Tenant Cross Gutter....from a land far away.......

Fifia, if your 8 stamps above are repeated in that format on the stamp sheet then they are just a 'Blk of 8 different stamps'.

Stamp sheets showing a different picture on every stamp, eg US Flags, have nothing to do with the word Se-tenant (I'll get debate most probable). True Se-tanent means ONLY '2 different stamps REPEATED' next to each other OR across the Gutter like my 1968 eg.

Most likely.
Se-Tenant can be any number of stamps that are different [value, overprint, design] so a full sheet of different stamps would called a Se-Tenant sheet.

Sadly none at present. If I see one anywhere you will be the first to know.

Londonbus1, my friend I can only go on 40 years of Australia Post's 'Technical Information' which is published in their 'Stamp Bulletin' booklet, which arrives by mail, approx' every 3 months, advertising ALL New Forthcoming stamp Issues available to Philatelic members.

Strange how the word Se-tenant appears NOT to have the same Philatelic meaning in English speaking countries. So, as learned gentlemen we will agree to absolutely disagree with Se-tenant's official meaning.

I think I mentioned here or on another thread about the differences between nations and catalogues, as well as individuals, regarding Philatelic Terms.
So I guess there will be a lot of agreeing and disagreeing on many points raised.

Here is the view of the XLCR Stamp Finder and Collector's Dictionary of a long time ago [E.Harris 1959]:

'Se-Tenant; joined together- a term applied to two or more unseperated stamps having different values, overprints or designs, and printed that way intentionally, not through an error.'

It's all good fun though.

Londonbus1....I said that too somewhere
