Any information on this? Here is a Hungarian miniature commemorative sheet from 1989 sheet (in the centre of it the effigies of Kossuth and Washington, 1 1/2 dollar???)

I don`t have it, but if there was an original label(?), stamp(?) in 1919 I would like to know more about. Till now I found no information on the internet.

The name at the bottom of the sheet, "MABÉOSZ" is short for "Magyar Bélyeggyujtok Országos Szövetségének" or National Association of Hungarian Stamp Collectors (after dropping two accented Hungarian letters that won't work here).

It looks as if there was an original label in 1919, as there is an entry in AskPhil:

Hungarian-American Messenger Service: bogus, 1919.

The whole map is a mirror image. All continents have their images inverted.

The AskPhil site just says "bogus, 1919" for the original labels.

...me too! (my mothertongue is Hungarian, but any non Hungarian I`ve met was complaining that this is a difficult language to learn and speak)

So it`s a bogus issue...I`ve tried to find out more at Hungarian websites, no information at all. I wonder who issued it and with what purpose...
