I have their Michel number, but can`t find Scott nr.
Denmark, 1854 Mi #4 orangebraun and 1858 Mi #7 (a or b, I don`t know)

Norwegia, 1856 Mi #4 and 1863 Mi #4 (value only on the left)

The Norwegian King Oscar is a Scott's #4. The second Norwegian looks to be a #8.
The Danes, if your dates are correct, would be, left - #4a and right - #7

My older Scott catalogue doesn't have really good pictures for these.
Very nice though...you stamps, not my catalogue.

Does the second Dane, the darker brown, have a watermark? That would make it a #7b

Thanks, and yes, both Danes have watermark (crown). I like these Norwegian stamps too, but the following `Posthorn` issues (second, from 1877) are scaring me. So I won`t try to start a Norwegian collection. I have a 3 skilling carmine, the only I could identify (it seems that from 1877 the monetary system changed, from skilling to ore). Anyway, these two have no fault, they were not even hinged.

Typical of me lately, I type before getting all the info straight. Sorry, but looking again I think they would all have watermarks. But the 7b is watermark 112, whereas the others have watermark 111.

So, that said, if the watermark on the dark brown is 112, then the stamp is 7b. If it is 111, it is 7.
Sorry for the confusion. Hope that helps.
