Pinisi junk and Expo 86 emblem, printed by photogravure, and issued by Indonesia on May 2, 1966 to publicize the 1986 World Exposition in Vancouver, Canada, Scott No. 1284. I believe the bird-like emblem on the sail may be a stylized version of the Indonesian national coat of arms, the Garuda Pancasila (see photo below). - nethryk   |
