I would have these under "Light and/or chemical damage"

I personally feel the pigment has "sulphuretted"
but it may also be bleached (mine especially)
I have seen German Carmine stamps turn completely black.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Hi Rod222,

I understand that red color can change to red brown... but dark brown is certainly not common. If someone have a picture with uniform brown color like mine, I want to see it.

Thank you Rod222!

Depends how long you leave it to oxidise,
it will eventually turn black.
Uncommon sure, but useful?
Perhaps only to serve as an example.

Your postmark is also a little concerning,
it seems to have a tinge of green
perhaps exposing someone meddling with a chemical of some sort.

Actually, to me (color ignoramous), the postmarks on both 10h stamps seem to have tinges of green -- the left stamp more so, but the right stamp also.
