Plate 3 (no corner hairlines), issued on 15Jan1862. You have a "wing" margin (note large left margin), which is correct for that pane position.

Scott #34
SG #79 or 80

This is most likely SG 80 or 82. Used cat value of £80 with good centering.

This is a wing margin (the large white area on the left-hand side is the wing margin) example with poor centering. The wing margin does not affect value per se (unless damaged).

Now it should be k and smauggie who are posting The Amazing Carnac picture...there is seemingly nothing to i.d.

(I'm suspecting the scan in the original post was removed...it is useful to leave it for future viewers.)

If a picture is worth a thousand words, apparently the absence of a picture is still worth a few hundred.

A tip for perfectionists:

½ = Hold down the ALT key, and type 0189 on the keypad.

Also:

£ = Hold down the ALT key, and type 0163.

= Hold down the ALT key, and type 0128. (Euro sign)

0163 does not work.

Man! that has mucked up my computer,
I have no index at the bottom of the page anymore
Google bar is at the top of the page

I'll have to do a "restore"

I'll stick to the decimal point in future.

I use .75
Hey I am a Metric guy, living on the cutting edge.

(Also helps with search function with 300,000 stamps,
one must use a common format, and coding was irritating,
I don't have a pound note sign on my keyboard)

I see none of you could ID my stamp.

Hi there 22C,
Sorry, you appraised the wrong stamp, I meant the Fourpence H'penny Queen Vic,
A Jam Doughnut if you crack that one, which you won't.
