I think it appears on the "Nurse and Child" Issue,
Unlisted variety "missing period under fraction" ?

On inspection of the proofs, it was decided to remove some spots from the plate, the spots were circled, for the burnisher, he / she then accidentally removed also, 1 of the period dots.
(something like that, anyhows.)

no, I had not seen that, many thanks.
At first, when mounting on Steiner, I thought he had made a mistake, with three locations.

I am now wondering if the half cent issue is another "rare common" stamp, (CV 20c)
Of the 100's of duplicates of the series, I have yet to find an example.
