Lithuania The Oak Tree of Stelmuze June 5, 2010 The stamp and minisheet feature one of the oldest oak trees in Europe. The oak measures 3.5 m in diameter and reaches 23 m in height.
The thousand-year-old larch in the valley of Mala Pisnica It is considered one of the oldest trees in Slovenia, with its age estimated at around 1,000 years. The tree's circumference measures approximately 420 centimeters, and it now stands just over 20 meters tall - its top broken off by lightning or heavy snow.

On the boulevard in front of my house grows a Norway maple which turns a beautiful red every fall. Here is a pick taken a few years ago but it is taller now. I estimate it is growing about a meter per year height and width. A couple of years ago maples in the area were infested by the Asian long horned beetle but luckily most survived.
