Hello all. I'm working on mounting some of my Danzig collection and I have an issue with the 1920's Danzig issues of German 1906-1920 with Overprint and Burelage.

My issue is that Scott doesn't show any pictures of the difference in the four varieties available. I have tried a google search only to keep ending up with videos of Glen Danzig and tons of addresses for head shops.

Does anyone here have pictures of these that may better help me see the difference or can maybe explain it to me in better than Scott terms. I would continue to search, but my monthly satellite allotment is about to peak and I have had the "FUP" enacted on me three times this month.

Scott Numbers would be Danzig 25-30/ 25a-30a / 25b-30b / 25c-30c

Thanks

Chief

The 5-mark with the star cancel is points down, and the next one, the 3-mark, is points up.

Look for the "waves" and you'll see whether the wave tops are pointing up, or down.

Thanks guys. Sadly I have to use satellite internet so my bandwidth is severely limited and that day I spent most of it downloading stuff for the kids Christmas toys/games ect. Once that fair use policy kicks in it's like surfing the internet on a tin can and string. it took almost ten minutes to get the forums to come up *sigh*

Chief, have you been able to see the images, or do you need a verbal description for identifying these?

I got it Cjd. Thanks a lot guys.... I was sort of sure that is how it went, but I had also been told something about stars or feathers and such and I was so thrown off that the description in my Scott book just made me drool. I'm one of those people that when I'm mounting stuff if I get hung up I can't just skip it and move forward. I have to get it in order as I'm mounting or I will be lost lost lost.... Think it's OCD or something :)
