I have this rather modern (cant be past 1961) Portuguese India that I cannot find listed in Scott. Can anyone shed some light. As always thank you for all your help. - Jeff

This may not be the case for this stamp, but Portugal continued to issue & release stamps for it's lost colony in India after the Indian Invasion & annexation.

Hi Jeff, warrehouse is spot on here. This is one of the stamp prepared for issue at the end of 1961 but not released because of the invasion and occupation of the territory by India. Similar sets of diamond-shaped sports stamps were released in other Portuguese colonies in early 1962.

It is amazing what I have on stamps. For the last 3 days I am putting all sorts in albums so I can see what I have.

So these go to Portugal and not India. Learned something.
