Here are images of the six stamps in a set illustrating famous opera ballets and commemorating the centenary of the Salle Garnier, home of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, designed and engraved by various French artists, and issued by Monaco on November 12, 1979, Scott Nos. 1181-86.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a ballet scene, designed by Joachim Rieß (1937- ), printed by lithography, and issued by Germany on October 14, 1993 to commemorate the centenary of the death of Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893), Scott No. 1814, Michel No. 1702. Note: Some online reference materials indicate that this stamp depicts a scene from Tchaikovsky's ballet Swan Lake (1895), although there is nary a feather in sight. In my opinion, the stamp's artwork looks much more like a scene from Act 3 of Tchaikovsky's earlier ballet The Sleeping Beauty (1890).
