I am happy to find these, my first perfin insignia (PERForated INsignia) stamps. At least I hope they are having an insignia and not just an INitial.

The perfin is a big letter T and thus a big initial but it is a drawn picture of a fancy T in my mind and thus more than just an initial and perhaps an insignia.

Haven't searched to see what the T stood for yet.

Hi Puzzler,

That's a very nice perfin. I've not seen this before but for once I guessed it on sight becasue the company still uses the same trademark.

The fancy "T" is from J & R Tennent Ltd, Well Park Brewery, Glasgow.

Tennent's is still the leading brand of lager in Scotland:
