Anyone recognise the set to which this belongs?
Norwood
This is not a South Australian postcode.

Don't know about the stamp, but the postmark may be for Norwood Massachusetts 02062.

You always bring a smile with your elan, 22crows.
Thank you very much.

I'll hang on for other advice, surely these must be British, methinks.

That's a Kings and Queens of England set from the 60's. Had one when I was a wee young collector. Can't remember who put them out. Seems to me there was a President of the USA set from the same company.
I pretty sure they weren't meant for postage.

Certainly Cinderelas James,
your comments suggest American, I am surprised,
although there is one stamp incribed "Jane"
I'll have to Google for her significance.

Here's a sheet. Printed in England. Note the frame colours are different from Rod222's set, so there must have been at least two different sheets printed.

Here's Rod's set in sheet form.

It says they were taken from prints in the Guildhall Library,London.
One set is two-coloured and the other Multi-Coloured, nice.

Ah the memories. I had the collection that Mr. Bus has shown. Remember cutting out the coat of arms and sticking it on my white Great Britain collection binder. Looked fancy!
Regret tossing them now. Didn't have the cindy appreciation I've learned here. Live and learn!

I thought I saw that somewhere. Here is from my early collector's years. Published in 1971. I was 14.
