Hello Joe1225us I do not have my book in front of me but could the one on the left be Austria? Or maybe a close neighbor? No idea on value, or the other stamp. I really like the first one though.

Edit: got my left and right confused again.

The one on the left is Austria. The one on the right is Germany because of the currency (Pfennig) and Funfzig means 50 in German. Neither are postage stamps. No idea of the value.

They're revenue stamps from Austria and Bavaria.

The Bavaria design was first used in 1876. I was trying to figure out the date of cancel, and it must be 1879. The pictured stamp is the third of seven in the issue.
