On the back of this Colombian imperf, I noticed that the paper was coarse. This is the first time I've found something like this..Would someone please give me some info on this paper? Thank you...Cul
This is a stamp from the Department of Antioqua, originally a state. SC#120 1899. Though listed as perf 11, Scotts says that imperf varieties exist. The paper on the back of the stamp looks different from the front. Since your stamp looks unused, I'll suggest that what you are seeing is the gum which has dried and cracked with age.
Thnx, James..I knew there were reasons why I joined this community...You're one of them, along with many other ppl who have helped me..Agagin, thank you
