Bavaria #10a, 1862.....beaten and battered, thinned, stained, hedious, pathetic little stamp that started out being printed on a paper splice. The ultimate space filler. I'd bet that even if I find another in better condition I'll still keep this.
Vry interesting Tom. I always learn a lot from all your posts. Thanks. By the way, that Peruvian "Grill" stamp you sent me has made many trips out to friends houses for educational meetings. No one in my circle had ever seen a grill before. It has been an excellent educational tool. Thanks. One thing about this hobby is there is always something new to learn.
Tom, Why don't you post an updated list of all the supplies you still have for sale. I know I'm looking for glassine envelopes of a couple of different sizes. It's been too long since you've been out here with your inventory and with all our new members, I'm sure an update from you would be helpful.
Mine is one of my treasured possessions. I don't think I've thanked you enough yet. And the four leaf clover you sent from your garden has a special place in my stamp room also.
