Office Depot carries Xerox brand acid free paper. I use the 65# for the Guatemala albums I built. I don't know how stiff she wants her paper, but regular copy paper is 20-22#. I think you can do a search for "acid free" under the paper section of the OD webste.

hey phil

Your paper should be acid free lignin free and archival for the best quality.

I have found one by smart papers called synergy bond I get the linen natural. It is only 24lb but is stiffer than normal photocopy paper. For me it is perfect. I buy it at staples.

Hope this helps

PS I know all about stooges, I had to figure it out for myself.

Dianne

Hi folks......

Wallmart carries a variety of acid free Hammermill and Georgia-Pacific papers. Add a three hole punch and a few 3-ring binders and you can set up any album you want. Have several myself.

Helpful hint.... D ring binders hold 30-40 % more pages than
the standard 0 ring type

I also do scrapbooking besides genealogy and now(once again) stamp collecting. Scrapbookers are very picky about acid and lignon- free paper. You might want to check out a scrapbook store or online.

It's obvious from all the posts here that you can get acid free paper almost anywhere. Apparently Phil didn't have any adult supervision the day he was looking.

Phil, if your retail employees are like ours, they don't have the common sense that the good Lord gave a goat.
