Here are images of the two stamps in a set depicting mothers and children, and the UNICEF emblem, designed by Pierre Gandon, engraved by (respectively) Jacques Combet and Charles Mazelin, and issued by Dahomey on December 11, 1964 to commemorate the 18th anniversary of UNICEF, Scott Nos. 194 & 195.

Here are images of the two stamps in a UNICEF set, designed, respectively, by E. Tomei and R. Ferrini, printed by photogravure, and issued by Italy on November 26, 1971 to commemorate the organization's 25th anniversary, Scott Nos. 1052 & 1053.

jamesw - Wow! Thanks. It's nice to know that there may still be some folks out there who appreciate my contributions to this topical board. It is my pleasure to research the stamps in my collection and to write up some of the interesting information that I discover about them. Also, I try to keep vintage threads like this one alive by adding to them from time to time.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting needy children, designed and engraved by Pierre Forget, and issued by Niger on December 11, 1967 to commemorate the 21st anniversary of UNICEF, Scott No. C78.
