Asking assistance from all you Russia aficionados.
I'm pretty sure this stamp is Russia SC#81 A11 style with wove paper.
I know the overprint is offices in Turkey. But I can't find the match up of this stamp to overprint in the catalogue.

Any help with a Scott's number would be appreciated.

Thankyou vasia, but what confuses me is the overprint on #246 has a single line between the upper text and the new denomination and no line below the denomination whereas the stamp I've shown has a double line between text and a single line below the denomination.
This overprint is shown on stamps starting at SC#282 (on postal savings stamps - different from mine), but mine doesn't seem to be listed with it. That I can see, anyway.

James,

apparently this particular overprint has several varieties (at least the 2 you mentioned) in the different overprinted values when it comes to the horizontal lines. See portion of the relevant page of the Soloviev catalogue:

Just wonder, why Scott listed these under Russian offices abroad? This wasn't an authorized branch by the main Post Office, just leftovers of Wrangel's army. Shouldn't it be under its own section, like Army of the North

Hi danko, SG lists these under "Russian Refugees Post" in their Civil War issues listing which I think makes more sense.

OK, so to sum up, this is a variety of a Wrangel issue overprint? Scott's notes that very few of the Wrangel overrints were actually sold to the public...Reprints abound.
So I can assume that since this stamp is mint, it is probably a reprint?

I believe it's a forgery as the "5" is the wrong shape and shouldn't stand higher than the "000" digits.
