philb - Thanks! Here is an image of a stamp depicting a dam and causeway on the Euphrates River, and Iraqi and ICID emblems, printed by lithography, and issued by Iraq on September 5, 1975 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage, Scott No. 739. Note: So far I have been unable to specifically identify this dam. Does anyone know which one it is? - nethryk  |

This 4-stamp set is from Sudan, issued in 2013 for the completion of the Roseires Dam Heightening Project, celebrated on the first day of the year. Scott 643-646.  |
