Does anyone have the ID number for this stamp? Does it have any value? What can you tell me about it?
Thanks Big Ed

Obviously from India. Scott #139 issued in 1934. In used condition, it is valued at catalog minimum.

Take this as a guess as I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be by. I think this is an India stamp either Scott #108 from 1926-36 and would have a watermark, or 139 from 1934 and I don't believe this one has a watermark. Both used are minimum in value.

Ah wt1 beats me again and with a specific number. At least I was close. Oh oh I see my mistake. Yeah helps to look closer before responding. It could only be the 139 because it is missing the words "& revenue". Am I right wt1?

Edit: my coffee has not kicked in yet.

Seems right to me. I'm not a specialist in stamps from India, so I'm by far no expert, but the #139 seemed to be the only design that matched the initial scan when I pulled out my catalog.
