Hi sslokhan.
well I am no experts at all. but it has some condition issues.
It has what appears to have been folded atleast one time mayby two.
And whats that under her chin ? and trough the neck ? another fold and perhaps some kind of stain.
Also the centering is a little bit of to the left.
And if you compare the upper part with the lower part it might have been cut. I just dont know the measurements on this one. What they should be.
It has some other minor issues as well.

My humble opinion on this one is that it is not in a good condition nor terrible bad. They could be much worse.

India isn't really my area either, but from what I can remember, this stamp is rarely found in perfect condition. Yours is probably about average for it.

Robson Lowe says that the overprint has been extensively forged, and that it has also been reprinted. The genuine overprint measures 16˝ mm x 2 mm.

It could be pretty tough to sell without an RPS or BPA Certificate, and I'd only buy it from a very highly trustworthy source.

Hi,

Thank you for your responses, but I am sure that it is genuine, I expertise in 1866 overprints.

But I am not sure whether this is in UNUSED condition!

The mark below the chin is like a surface rub (Not noticeable by the naked eye).

As tonymacg said, 1866 overprint on bill stamps are rare to find in perfect condition and even rarer to find in perfect MINT condition.
