There are many topics treating on watermark in this forum. I didn't know which one to choose to share this little study that might be interesting... I hope

A picture worth a thousand words, so here they are.

First image is the 2cents green Unitrade #24

Second image : Stamp taking a bath in the fluid face down and I saw a mass coming out, nothing clear - croped the image - played with contrast, lightening...etc... untill I get what it looks to be an "A" (red lining)

Third image : without the red lining

Fourth image was flipped horizontaly so as to see it under another angle

Is it or is it not #32?
Will I be able to repaint my old car??

Notice the horizontal lines.

It is hard to say if there is a watermark, but if so they are usually straight, not diagonal.

As BeeSee noted, the watermark should be straight.

In addition, the watermark I believe, is the outline of the letter, not a solid letter.

If that was on laid paper you could buy a new car and probably a garage to park it in. The above answers being correct -1 it should be straight either vertical or horizontal but paper could have been addly cut but 2 . The watermark should only be the outline of the letters. Looks possibly like dark areas from the cancel just happen to line up but I'd have a ? mark beside it.
