Abyssinian Roller (Coracias abyssinica) & Shining-blue Kingfisher (Alcedo quadribrachys) from Kampala, Uganda. Red-backed Shrike (Larius collurio) from Haapsalu, Estonia. Added to map! Cant read the Zimbabwe place name though. Here's a Seychelles Black Parrot (Coracopsis nigia barklyi) the national bird of the Seychelles, & it's endemic to the Seychelles. Took off from Victoria in July 1969.  |

Keep 'em coming, fifia & all bird stamp collectors! From Gibraltar we have a Blue Rock Thrush (Monticola solitarius) which is found in southern Europe & northwest Africa, with migratory populations in parts of Asia.  |

A pair of Kokako (Callaeas cinereus) from New Zealand. The Kokako belongs to the endemic New Zealand wattlebirds, an ancient family of birds which have been there since before the time New Zealand first became an island or archipelago! wow so many birds flying in & the map looks great! & i'm learning about birds too. I have this European Honey Buzzard (Pernis apivorus) from Malta, hope the postmark is clear enough. The bird is a summer migrant to most of Europe & western Asia, then spends winters in tropical Africa. (wiki)  |
