Poll Question:
Curious about people's album preferences.

Choices:
2 post binders
3 ring binders mounted to the spine
3 ring binders mounted to the back
4, 5 or more ring binders
I use stock books
Don't care, as long as it has stamps in it.
Springback binders

What the heck is a "real" stamp collector?

And I'm with ncbuckeye.... whatever as long as it is full of stamps for this "unreal" stamp collector.

:)

The "real" thing at the end was a joke. I'll go edit.

I was joking as well. You didn't need to make a change.

Love stock books because they are so 'neat'.

Don't forget springback binders.

The SAFE hingeless albums I use for most of my country collections are 14-ring.

22028, you can post images that pertain to the discussion right away. Plenty of people join, post pics of their newly inherited stamps, and disappear forever after finding out that they are not newly-minted millionaires. (I, for one, would be interested in seeing more of your Iraq railway stamps...I believe I recall the article.)

I wish 4-ring binders were readily available in the U.S. At some point, someone decided that we should be a 3-ring country, apparently.

I looked up springback binders. Interesting. How securely do they hold the pages? Will they survive a fall without knocking pages loose? Does the page need to be slightly wider than 8 1/2" for the springback to have enough to grip?

*** Edited by Staff - The rules were not designed for you to try to get around them. They were designed to keep new members from registering just to promote their sites. Since after being warned, and getting a sarcastic reply, you have gone out of your way to deliberately circumvent the spirit of the rules by posting search terms to use to find your site instead of "posting a link" .... you may now find somewhere else to post. ***

I used to use the two post Binders- but what a pain adding or rearranging pages.

But I went back to the KISS principle- using three ring heavy duty binders from Staples and the self printed Steiner pages for my classical era WW collection. Adding, replacing or rearranging the pages is now a piece of cake.

I am certain that if this poll was divided to US members and all others the results would be much more definitive: US collectors are used to 3 ring binders while European and others prefer the 4 ring binders.

Or so I think.....

I don't suppose that you'd want to have a "I wish that my binders were" vs. "I'll settle if my binders were" choices.
