The forgery has minor differences in the color, watermark, paper, perfs, and drawing. By my measurement, the perfs on this one match the original. |

Rod222, nice East Prussian postmark from the Allenstein area! Gross Buchwalde is now Bukwald,Poland.
I vote for OBL being an owner's mark. It is worth your while looking at the watermark. Michel 587Y, the inverted watermark, catalogs at 150 euros, I believe. |

There are threads on a couple of the German-language forums regarding the OBL mark. The consensus is that it's an owner's mark. Must have been quite the collection, for as many folks seem to have copies with this mark. |
