On April 28, 1995, South Africa issued this "Tourism" stamp to promote KwaZulu/Natal. The province is highlighted in white on the stamp's map. A mother and juvenile southern white, or square-lipped rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) are depicted at the province's Hluhluwe Imfoloze Reserve.
