I only dabbled in stamps over the years. I have a diverse bunch of everything worth little, from Canada to emirates to US first day covers, Bhutan 3D, space, olympics, etc.
Hadn't really bothered with stamps for the last 30 years because of the excess amount of useless issues being churned out. Bought a few lots of old Canadian stamps on
ebay over the last 10 years, but I couldn't believe my luck when I won this cover on
ebay some years ago.
Enclosed was a note from the seller who had this done himself in 1946. All 6 regular issues (268 to 273) released on Sept. 16, 1946, plus airmail C9, special delivery E11, and special delivery airmail CE3, which were also issued the same day, and a nice special delivery sticker.
Air mail from Ottawa to Ottawa !
So besides being probably the only interesting thing in my pile of philatelic debris, what kind of monetary value might it have ?
