Hi All

Here is a card with the major re-entry of the Admiral stamp of Canada.

The story behind this card is that it is addressed to my grandparents on my father's side. A small group of postcards were given to me from my parents and this card was among them.

If I had to search for one to buy, I just couldn't afford it, so, the price was right with mine.

This is a blow up of the error I took with a cheap camera in the 1960s. Both the number onese show it but the L/R one is the most dramatic. The words "One Cent" also appear to have been almost doubled.

Yes it is quite clear. It will be neat if you can get a high resolution scan to show.

That is a beauty of a re-entry bujutsu. And tied on cover makes it even better. I love looking for printing errors, kinda like a treasure hunt. To get this from your own family makes it that much more fulfilling.

Very nice. That's a nice way to get it too.

How long did it take before you realised you had it, before you noticed it?

It had to be a few years because I had not branched out into varieties etc.

Once I started seeing auction catalogues as a teen is when I started sifting through stamps for the different plate varieties. I was checking loose stamps for a couple of years even after that and decided to check those on cover / cards and that is when I had noticed it.
