Se Mini 45x Brass Microscope W/ Illuminator

Some shots of the mini scope I bought last month. Been using it almost daily since I bought it. Great little scope for a VERY cheap price.

Purchased at Amazon. No link since I'm a noob and the rules say I shouldn't. Amazon search should find it quickly. Some more photos (from other people, 2 showing the actual view through the eyepiece) on the Amazon item page too.

This has been a great scope. They are priced at $3.11 today (2012.02.16) and were only $4.?? last month.

I have about 6 of them - They are awesome for the price- Even found replacement batteries at dollar store. They last quite awhile but the UV lights fade fairly quick. With new batteries you can even check tagging ( at least on Canadian) .

Yea, I definitely want to get a couple more before they realize they have a decent product and start charging a lot more.

The illuminator is a UV LED? That would be really useful! Thanks for pointing that out! I didn't realize they had UV LEDs.

I would purchase one of these, but I am scared I would lose it

I believe the batteries are available at dollar stores and be sure to get polarity right when you install because LEDs can be voltage sensitive.

Tomiseksj: Do I see by your damaged parcel that the return address of the firm is in China, yet it was mailed with a US Postal Service postage sticker and USPS confirmation? Does this mean there is a US address from where these items are shipped?

I don't believe so. I ordered the item on Feb 18 and it was delivered on March 8 -- just shy of 3 weeks.


From the image of the almost-complete mailing label, it appears that there is a relationship between USPS and China Post which enables the sender to receive delivery confirmation.
